    The EPIC Family of Human Service Agencies is a Long Island-based nonprofit organization that began in 1953. Founded by determined parents, EPIC has evolved into a leading center of excellence, dedicated to serving individuals with epilepsy, developmental disabilities, and mental health challenges. Through EPIC Long Island, Epilepsy Foundation Long Island, and South Shore Guidance Center, the organization offers comprehensive programming including community habilitation, residential services, behavioral health clinics, education, advocacy, and outreach. EPIC strives to empower individuals to achieve their fullest potential with dignity and independence.
