KYLE PALMIERI FOUNDATION

  • Mission

The Kyle Palmieri Foundation’s sole purpose is to support those who have given the greatest sacrifice. We award select non-profit organizations serving Long Island’s military community with grant money each year.

    About Us

The Kyle Palmieri Foundation is a nonprofit corporation with federal tax-exempt status as a public charity under Section 501(c)(3) founded by New York Islanders forward Kyle Palmieri.

While there is no way to adequately thank active and veteran service members and their families for the sacrifices they have made, we do our best to show our sincerest appreciation by raising funds for programs that benefit the military community.

The issue is personal to Kyle, as he has several family ties to the military. Currently, his sister and brother-in-law are honorably serving our country in the National Guard and U.S. Army. This close connection to the military inspired Kyle to do more to help those who sacrifice the most.

What began as a military recognition program called Squad 21 in 2016, the Kyle Palmieri Foundation has since evolved into a full-fledged charity organization that supports military nonprofits. The original Squad 21 program still lives on under the Foundation, bringing veterans to New York Islanders games free of charge.
