LEGACY BUILDERS ULTD

  • Mission

Our mission is to empower youth and young adults in economically disadvantaged communities with the education and hands-on experience that will afford them the opportunity to follow their career paths in the music, arts, and entertainment industry.

    About Us

Legacy Builders, a not-for-profit 501c3 was formed to provide the training, tools, and resources essential in preparing the youth for a career in the Arts and Entertainment Industry. Our facility is a multi-tier Music and Arts production workspace with state-of-the-art recording studios, photography, online radio station/podcast, and rehearsal studios.

By 2025, it is estimated that revenue in the media and entertainment industry will reach $855 Billion. Of that amount, $23 Billion will be generated in the Music Industry, with Hip-Hop/Rap and R&B making up more the 30% of the total music consumption.

With the rise of social media platforms and advance technology, black young adults have been drawn to create music and online content to distribute to the world. However, they have not been educated on the business or properly trained on the technical aspects. They are often not prepared to capitalize on their talents and build sustainable careers.

Our programs are designed for 16 to 21-year-old young adults from economically disadvantaged communities that desire a career in the music and entertainment industry, but the cost of traditional education institutions is not a viable option.
