    The City of Newburyport Council On Aging works to protect and support the interests and rights of older people. It joins efforts with older organizations to monitor important legislation, programs, and access to services.

    Reading is a pastime of many retirees. The Council On Aging provides a daytime book group that meets once each month for book selection and discussion.

    The Council On Aging offers a variety of day trips for older adults. All senior citizens and their friends are invited to participate. No reservations are confirmed until full, non-refundable payments are received.
