EXCELLENCE IN MUSIC, PARENT/CHILD CONNECTION AND COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT. The Baltimore Talent Education Center (BTEC) provides high quality music education at a low cost for children who reside in Baltimore City. We host one of the highest rates of student retention – averaging 6 years -- of any music education program in Baltimore. Our students excel as musicians and scholars, filling programs at Peabody and the nation’s top universities.
