About Us

The City University of New York (CUNY) is the nation's leading urban public university serving approximately 500,000 students at 24 colleges and institutions in New York City in degree and continuing education programs. The University’s 24 institutions include 11 senior colleges, seven community colleges, the William E. Macaulay Honors College at CUNY, the Graduate School and University Center, the CUNY Graduate School of Journalism, the CUNY School of Law, the CUNY School of Professional Studies, and the CUNY School of Public Health. CUNY plays a large role in developing the workforce for New York City through both degree and continuing education programs. The Continuing Education and Workforce Programs Department helps to support the implementation and management of quality workforce programs across the University.
