Alba Collective

Alba Collective’s mission is to protect and promote the human rights of poor women and girls in rural India. To do this, Alba Collective works with women artisans and adolescent girls in the state of Gujarat to establish their financial autonomy while educating the workforce and the next generation. Alba Collective seeks to create linkages between rural women artisans and global markets. In addition to Alba Collective’s work with artisans, the Shanu Adolescent Agency Initiative focuses on improving girls’ educational opportunities through a range of targeted interventions.
