Communities In Schools of NOVA champions the connection of community resources with children and families to help young people in Northern Virginia successfully learn, stay in school and prepare for life.
We value the strength of families, schools and the surrounding community in providing safe and enriching environments for children to learn, enjoy a good quality of life and prepare for the future. We know that with the complex issues that families face and the overwhelming demands placed on all institutions, needs go overlooked while resources are underutilized. We create widespread networks and provide intensive quality programs that address these barriers and promote community leadership while brokering ten times the value of service for every administrative dollar spent.
