    MDA is fighting to free individuals - and the families that love them - from the harmful effects of muscular dystrophy, ALS and related life-threatening diseases so they can live longer and grow stronger.

    About Us

    Locally, the Western Washington Chapter of MDA supports MDA Care Centers at Seattle Children's Hospital and the University of Washington Medical Center, a summer camp for youth 6 - 17 with neuromuscular diseases, a medical equipment loan program, a national resource center, local referrals to other community resources, Quest magazine and MDA's website, www.mda.org. MDA supports numerous research projects in the USA and worldwide to seek effective treaments and cures for the neuromuscular diseases in MDA's program.
