About Us

BoBCAT'S mission is to educate, nurture, and sustain a well-prepared, world-class workforce in Brooklyn, New York, for the balance of the 21st Century, with the goal of eradicating chronic unemployment and underemployment within the borough.


We hold a variety of classes and workshops that will help our participants grow as well as thrive in the city workforce environment. We offer career pathways and career tracks that lead to employment with a targeted salary that begins at about $50K a year.


We offer soft skills training sessions to provide financial literacy, improve interviewing skills, resume writing instruction, and employment etiquette.


BoBCAT proudly serves individuals aged 19 and above, including unemployed youth and people who attended but did not graduate from college, with a particular focus on:

  • Bedford Stuyvesant 
  • Brownsville 
  • Bushwick
  • East Flatbush 
  • Flatbush 
  • East New York 
  • Sunset Park
