    The ClaySure Water Project was inspired by the organization Potters for Peace (http://www.pottersforpeace.org). The ClaySure Team travels around the world teaching potters how to make silver-impregnated ceramic water filters. These filters are low-tech, inexpensive, and life saving. Potters in developing nations can adopt this technology to introduce affordable water purification systems in to their communities. Filters can also provide an additional source of income to potters.
