KALLPOOSH FOUNDATION (KF) is a National Level Socio-Cultural, Non-Commercial, Not-for-Profit, Non-Political and Non-Religious,    Eco-Friendly, Impact-Focused Section 8 Company set up under The Companies Act, 2013 working with the Organizations following the Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) Criteria.  KF works for improving and empowering the lives of the economically or socially underprivileged and undertakes all such activities that support this objective, including the development of livelihoods for the weakest sections of society.

 KF is dedicated to promoting well being of all citizens, including the Kashmiri migrants & refugees who were uprooted from the Kashmir valley due to militancy and is deeply concerned about the emergency / distress situation affected by pandemic COVID-19 to many of us here in India. In this regard, please pursue our two attachments, which provide our brief profile / activities for the kashmiri community. 

 Over the past thirty years, Kashmir valley known as the ‘Paradise on Earth’ has been engulfed by unprecedented violence, bloodshed and terror. This goes against the very ethos of Kashmiriat, for which the valley was known down the ages. The concept of the kashmiri composite culture embodies the principles of mutual goodwill, peace, co-existence, harmony among diverse sections of society and religious tolerance. Due to exodus from Kashmiri Valley in 1990, our rich Art cultural heritage is on the verge of extinct. The objectives and mission of KF is to revive the eroded & diluted Kashmiri Language, Cultural, Heritage, Art forms and restore the life of migrants who are leading a miserable torturous life in exile for last 25 years due to eruption of militancy in Kashmir valley.

India is facing an unprecedented health emergency situation caused by the outbreak of COVID-19, which has been declared a pandemic by WHO. COVID-19 has already disrupted the normal life of poor Indian citizens and has the potential to cause heavy casualties, if proper steps are not taken to contain spread. Many of our fellow citizens have already tested positive for COVID-19 across the length and breadth of the country and are presently under quarantine / isolation / treatment at home or in designated health care facilities. The Government of India as well as State Governments have issued necessary instructions to control the spread of this deadly affliction. In this hour of adversity, it is our moral responsibility to provide support for strengthening the fight against COVID-19. A large number of daily wagers are out of jobs, and are going back to their villages. A lot of them are stuck in cities with hardly any meals / resources. KALLPOOSH FOUNDATION is gearing up for the aftermath of this pandemic (extent and timeline not clear but getting ready) apart from reaching out to people as per situations and regulations right now.

While all & one have expressed solidarity in times of such crisis, I am sure that you will also come forward to extend a helping hand to mitigate the unforeseen hardship brought about by COVID-19 in INDIA. I, therefore, solicit support & cooperation of all and hereby make an earnest appeal to them to contribute to KALLPOOSH FOUNDATION in cash / kind, to carry out extraordinary relief measures in INDIA highlighting global interconnections and interdependence in these extraordinary times.
