    • Mission

    To take, print and preserve photographs of children in FOSTER CARE because, very sadly, almost no one else does. Children in foster care who, because of their circumstances, overwhelming miss out on the benefits of pictures and photography. As these kids grow and mature, their changing appearance goes undocumented, and major milestones pass without a permanent record. The physical history of their lives and the people significant to them is lost.

    About Us

    Photo Safe is an all-volunteer organization that is active in New York City and New Jersey, and last year we expanded to Southern Connecticut and Los Angeles County. To date, we've provided foster youth and their families just under 50,000 stunning photos taken by professional photographers.

    We hope to open Photo Safe chapters in large cities in the United States.
