    Women’s Refugee Care (WRC) is a Rhode Island–based nonprofit founded by Congolese refugees to help families become self-sufficient while preserving their cultural identity. We provide holistic support beyond initial resettlement—including food assistance, mental health and skill-building programs, youth advocacy, and women’s empowerment—ensuring refugee families have the tools and resilience to thrive.
