    Our mission is to provide highly skilled assistance dogs to people with disabilities, to provide continuing education to working assistance dog teams, and to be a resource in the community for people with disabilities.

    About Us

    Power Paws Assistance Dogs raises, trains and places assistance dogs with people with mobility impairments, Type I Diabetes and PTSD/PTSS. Dogs are trained over a two year period, but each pup serves the community during training in:

    1. Camps for kids ages 10-17
    2. Reading, Literacy and Life Skills for at risk Title I students
