Horizon House’s service excellence and success have created opportunities, not only for persons served, but also for senior management to oversee emerging program areas. As the agency continues to grow, we seek talented individuals to carry out Horizon House’s mission in existing and new geographic areas.

Founded in 1952 as a community support program for a small group of Philadelphians released from psychiatric hospitals, Horizon House has spent the last 60 years committed to providing quality, person-centered supports to individuals with special needs.

We provide services to 4,500 adults annually in Eastern Pennsylvania and the state of Delaware. These services address the needs of individuals with psychiatric and intellectual disabilities, addictions disorders, and those who are homeless. Our comprehensive, integrated supports are delivered by interdisciplinary teams who encourage individual strength and choice. Our 1,200-person workforce delivers the following array of services: case-management, residential, outpatient, employment and educational services, specialized and crisis housing and integrated primary care.

Horizon House is recognized on regional, national and even international levels for its innovation in and commitment to excellent and effective human services. Throughout our history, the Agency has grown in both its realm of services and its geographic service area as we have worked closely with other providers, funders and government entities to ensure that those in need receive adequate supports.

The Agency has an annual budget exceeding $75 million and is overseen by a Board of fifteen and President and CEO Jeffrey Wilush.
