  • About Us

Family Friends is an intergenerational mentoring program that matches mature volunteers with families who have a variety of special needs.

Volunteers spend approximately 4 hours weekly with the family providing respite, friendship, mentoring, advocacy, and emotional support to any family member in need at the moment. Volunteers receive initial and on-going training and support.

Additional goals are to provide meaningful community involvement for volunteers, as well as an additional resource to other community, human-service agencies.
