Helping Honduras Kids

To improve the level of dignity, education, opportunity and health for orphaned, abandoned, abused, trafficked, and/or neglected and special needs children, single mothers and families on the north coast of Honduras. This is accomplished through programs designed to provide opportunity, education, hope and love as well as providing for the spiritual, physical, emotional, educational, medical, and recreational needs of underprivileged children, in a Children's Home, marginalized rural communities, and in a school. We also strive to share the love of Jesus Christ everywhere we go through acts of kindness and love.

HHK manages the Hogar de Amor Children's Home and the Jungle School to help many children. We would love Spanish/English bi-lingual volunteers that can help assist our children in the school, teach valuable life skills, or special talents such as music, karate, dance, sewing, arts, teaching English & Math, writing skills, carpentry, computer classes, tutoring and mentoring, helping the children with homework, or other specialized skills that will help our children succeed in life.
