LORAIN COUNTY PIT CREW

  • Mission

Lorain County Pit Crew (“LCPC”)’s mission is to help bully breed owners keep their dogs in their homes and strives to alleviate hardships by providing services and needs that are otherwise unaffordable or inaccessible. LCPC’s focus is to help prevent owners from being forced to re-home or surrender their dogs to already overwhelmed shelters and rescues, all too often ending in euthanasia of many great dogs due to no fault of their own. Support offered to owners includes dog training, spay and neuter, shots and other medical needs, food, crates, etc. We do NOT take dogs that owners wish to surrender. We are here to try to help you find a way to keep your dog.

    About Us

Our primary fundraising efforts focus to support two primary initiatives: The Fit Pit Club and ongoing community support to bully breed owners.

The Fit Pit Club is a preventative program that provides free vaccinations (Rabies, Distemper, Hepatitis, Parvo and Bordetella), heartworm/parasite testing and treatment, and spay/neuter, which will allow Bully owners to keep their loving pets safe and healthy.

Ongoing community support includes catastrophic/emergency medical treatment to owners who do not have the necessary means and would typically face euthanasia or surrender.
