Mission
The Interior Region EMS Council strives to reduce the human and economic costs of accidents and illnesses through continual improvement of emergency care and education in the Interior of Alaska. Our primary goal is viable and sustainable EMS Systems in every community.
About Us
Interior Region Emergency Medical Services Council, Incorporated (IREMSC) is a private non-profit corporation located in Fairbanks, Alaska. We are dedicated to improving emergency medical care in Interior Alaska. We also promote common safety and public education throughout the region. Our region covers 236,000 square miles, an area nearly the size of Texas. We provide services from the Brooks Range in the north, to the Alaska Range in the south, and east to west from the Canadian Border to Kaltag on the Yukon River near the Bering Sea.
