Educating todays Optometric Students for tomorrow

Help our optometry students this summer! Our second-year students are learning to prescibe glasses for people over the age of 40. To provide them with the expereince of practicing on real patients we invite members of the Boston community to sit as practice patients.

Having community memebrs sit as patients is an invaluable education experience for out students and a wonderful opportunity fot the community to see our young optometry students in action.

Each practice patient will receive a $20.00 stipend per session (2 hours) for his or her help and time. Student WILL NOT be assessing ocular health with eye drops and will be supervised by an optometrist at all times.

Please join us on the following afternoons:

Tuesday July 18th, Wednesday July 19th and Thursday July 20th.
