SpeakOUT

SpeakOUT is a community of speakers and volunteers working to create a world free of bias and prejudice by telling the truths of LGBTQ+ lives.

SpeakOUT is an LGBTQ+ speakers bureau that was founded in 1972. In our nearly 55 years SpeakOUT has reached thousands of people, opening minds and hearts as we share our experiences and lives.

Our volunteer speakers are from greatly varied cultural and religious backgrounds, ages, LGBTQ+ identities, and experiences. They volunteer their time to try to make the world a better, more open and inclusive place for the queer community. Our speakers tell their stories within public and private schools and colleges, businesses, government agencies, faith communities, youth groups, and community service organizations.
