  • About Us

Waking up together in the wild

Amidst the high alpine mountains, Vallecitos is a breathtaking wildlife preserve on the traditional territories of the Ute and Jicarilla Apache Peoples (Tusas mountains, New Mexico). Guests are reabsorbed into nature through Dharma and wisdom practices that serve personal and collective liberation.

Vallecitos is a remote, off grid retreat center deep in the Carson National Forest of New Mexico. We hold silent meditation retreats seasonally from late May through October each year. We have an intimate setting with only 36 guests and 5 staff onsite at the center. Our year round administration is based in Durango, CO.
