Jewish Family Service (JFS) of Metrowest

JFS is a multiservice agency that provides services for all people in need, regardless of religious affiliation with a special focus on frail older adults and vulnerable children. Our services range from the food pantry and clothing assistance, elder care, and home visits to refugee and immigrant support services.

Services Provided

JFS’ broad community-based services occur in numerous locations with 80% occurring outside the agency walls. Services target diverse populations across the life cycle, ranging from young children to frail older adults. Most JFS clients are served without cost or at a significantly subsidized rate. Programs include:

• Citizenship and resettlement
• Family assistance: Case management, Cash Assistance
• Food pantry
• Geriatric care management
• Healthy aging/ Reducing Social Isolation
• Homecare
• Intergenerational volunteer programs
