New Heights Therapeutic Riding Center

Located in the beautiful rolling hills of Folsom, Louisiana horse country, just a few miles from downtown Covington and just across Lake Pontchartrain from New Orleans, we are New Heights Therapeutic Riding Center (NHTC), a 501(c)3 and PATH Certified Premier Therapeutic Equestrian Center. We provide necessary and essential therapies to a broad spectrum of needs including neuromuscular, post-traumatic physical and emotional, and developmental; covering all ages. Our core practice areas are centered around Therapeutic Riding and Hippotherapy.

We operate a stare-of-the-art facility which includes covered riding areas, an on-site therapy clinic, sensory trails and wooded riding trails.

   We are tremendously proud of our exceptional staff, our wonderful facilities, our herd of noble and happy therapy horses and blessed with a beautiful setting. Most of all, we are grateful to be involved in such a rewarding and satisfying opportunity to help so many in need. All involved from staff to riders to volunteers say what a privilege it is to be involved with New Heights.

We are also proud to partner with the Veterans Administration and Parish Safety Groups and offer programs in support of our veterans.
