Ballet Afsaneh Art & Culture Society

The mission of Afsaneh Art & Culture Society – Ballet Afsaneh is to present the dance, music and poetry of the historic Silk Road regions of Central Asia (Iran, Tajikistan, Afghanistan, Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan, India, Turkey, and China). We endeavor to educate and promote understanding and appreciation of these diverse and enduring cultures, to support artists in their role as community leaders, and inspire people through the presentation of both traditional and new artwork. AACS accomplishes its mission through programs that nurture community members’ engagement in cultural activities as educators, learners, performers, native informants and advocates, who make their cultural assets accessible to their communities and the general public in a variety of formats and media.
