Hospice By The Sea, Solana Beach, CA

Hospice By The Sea, in Solana Beach, is looking for volunteers to provide the gift of companionship for those with a serious life-limiting illness and to provide care-giver relief for their loved ones.

Volunteers are a very integral part of our team that will make social visits, read to patients, help with journaling, take them outside or make a light meal. Volunteers can also work in our office doing a variety of different types of office work and help out with simple craft projects.

You will receive free in-depth training about hospice and the role of the volunteer. Once you have completed this training you will be assigned a patient whom you will visit wherever they live. Our patients are located mostly in North County. You will be able to set up your own visits, with the day and time that works best for both you and the patient.
