About Us

African movement of working children and youth Ghana (AMWCY GHANA), is an organization which help materialize the rights of working children and youth to help improve their standard of living and also help the rights of other children to be respected. AMWCY GHANA, constitute of associations in some regions of Ghana. These associations are Ho, Accra, Wli, Ayoma, Kpong, Anyinawase, Hoviefe, and Adaklu and Hohoe. The members of every association comprises of youth and children in the various towns who are less privileged, abused, child labourers and street children. Our main target groups are children who work and children whose rights are not respected

AMWCY GHANA continue helps less privileged children to achieve their full potentials through capacity building trainings, literacy courses, legal aids and protection of children against abuse. Hence AMWCY GHANA continue to selflessly help communities to gain sustainable socio-economic development by playing collaborative role in partnership with all interested institutions and individuals in putting into practical actions, research and ideas in facilitating the reduction of poverty in deprived communities through the participation of children and youth.
