Portland's unsheltered residents are routinely denied access to hygiene, sanitation, & safety services. H4a has built a site plan, services, and guidelines that address these inequities by providing a safe, dignified hospitality hub, operating from 3 PM to 9pm, where all Portlanders may access:

    • 20 minute showers
    • Bathrooms
    • A Bedding & Clothing Exchange
    • Trash & Recycling Pick-up
    • Trauma-Informed First Aid
    • Device charging
    • Hygiene Supplies
Our hub is designed and run by hub attendants who are current or recent members of the houseless community. H4A offers unsheltered neighbors low barrier jobs through our Hub, as well as opportunities for civic participation and leadership through workshops and speaking engagements that engage Portland's businesses, neighborhoods, and policymakers.
