Pentimenti Productions NFP

Pentimenti Productions is a small not­for­profit arts organization in the city of Chicago established in 2010 with a mission to produce and distribute high­quality educational documentary films on the visual arts. Our inaugural project was Hairy Who & The Chicago Imagists (2014), the first feature film presentation of the work and history of the group of artists who have come to be known as the Chicago Imagists. Pentimenti’s current feature project is a 3­-D documentary about the American sculptor and printmaker H.C. Westermann. In addition to producing feature films, Pentimenti also collaborates with institutional and artistic partners to bring new and archival short films about the arts to audiences in Chicago and around the world.
