Harness Community

Founded by America Ferrera, Wilmer Valderrama, and Ryan Piers Williams, Harness works to center the stories of marginalized communities in popular culture. We are a community of artists, influencers, and grassroots leaders that envision a world where human rights are protected by the power of the people. Harness works within the entertainment industry, with individual influencers, and with media companies to support diverse narratives and amplify the work of progressive organizations and individuals. Our events have highlighted civil rights leaders as well as social movements like Black Lives Matter and the the Women’s March. We especially appreciate building deep relationships with community leaders from Indigenous, Black, Latinx, Trans, Muslim, and AAPI communities.
