Wheeler Creek CDC

Wheeler Creek CDC is a community based nonprofit organization with a mission to facilitate the revitalization of the physical, social, and economic fabric of communities by coupling the promise of affordable housing with the education, career training, and other resources low and moderate income communities need to prosper.

Our vision is to create stable, diverse and healthy communities by championing the needs of low and moderate income residents in the Washington DC Metropolitan Area. 

We work to create stable, diverse and healthy communities through the provision of social services to low- and moderate-income residents of the District of Columbia. The organization has a specific focus on Southeast D.C. residents of the District and administers homeless prevention, supportive housing, financial literacy and other support services programs. The organization has supported District residents for over 20 years.

 Over the last few years, Wheeler Creek has expanded its staff and services as a provider in the District's Homeless Services Continuum of Care. Wheeler Creek specifically focuses its services on low-income and disenfranchised residents throughout the District.
