Habitat for Humanity San Joaquin County is working toward a world where everyone has a decent place to live. 

 Mission statement: Seeking to put God’s love into action, Habitat for Humanity brings people together to build homes, communities and hope.

 Habitat invites people of all backgrounds, races and religions to build their own homes alongside volunteers, pay an affordable mortgage and are grateful for your help. together in partnership with families in need. The self-empowerment created by this opportunity helps homeowner families eliminate barriers to a better, healthier, more financially stable life. We believe that with a little help, we all have the potential to stand on our own!

Habitat has built more than 500,000 houses around the world, providing more than 2.5 million people in more than 3,000 communities with safe, decent, affordable shelter. Habitat works in many ways: new construction, repairs to existing homes, help establish title and ownership to land, advocacy for better laws and systems, and more.
