About Us
The Community Service Center at Boston University seeks to provide students with opportunities to address the critical concerns of the Greater Boston community in a meaningful and mutually beneficial way.
The opportunities provided serve as a vehicle for students'personal growth and leadership, while encouraging active and responsible membership in neighboring communities. The Community Service Center broadens the scope of the educational experience through service and reflection.
Student managers oversee 13 student-run service programs. With a volunteer base of over 1,500 people the CSC annually contributes over 75,000 hours of service in the Greater Boston Area and around the US.
