Big Brothers Big Sisters of Oklahoma

Recognized as the state's premiere youth mentoring organization, the mission of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Oklahoma is to provide children facing adversity with strong and enduring, professionally-supported one-to-one relationships that change their lives for the better, forever.

The agency creates one-to-one mentoring friendships between children and caring volunteers through community based and school based programs. All volunteers are provided with a full-time, fully trained Match Support Specialist to help facilitate the match and achieve positive outcomes for the children in the program.

Independent research proves that children with a Big Brother or Big Sister are less likely to use drugs, skip school, and have better relationships with family and friends.
