  • Mission

To help ease pandemic-induced educational difficulties and solve educational inequity, we developed a completely free online tutoring program for K-8 students, tutored by high school tutors.

    About Us

Scientific Minds of America (SMOA) is a 501(c)(3) nationwide nonprofit organization that is virtually run. It is founded, led and operated by high school and college students. With help from our community leaders, we have served over 500 students across the east coast. Not only do K-8 benefit from SMOA's services but so do high school volunteers. Both tutors and officers involved in the organization earn many service hours and are eligible to earn the President's Volunteer Service Award, a national distinction and greta resume builder! SMOA has done personalized tutoring sessions and summer camps in the past and is striving to do more with the help of high school students. SMOA's goal is to continue solving educational inequity in the world today.
