The One World Shop is a thirty year old non-profit organization operating a retail shop in Rocky River, Ohio.

Overview of organization: The primary purposes of the One World shop are: • To provide an opportunity for craftspeople in poverty areas throughout the world to help themselves by providing a retail outlet for their crafts. • To enable people in our communities to respond in a concrete way to the increasing global problems of poverty and hunger; and to seek to educate and inform them about the cultures of the craftspeople represented in the shop. • To help people re-think and re-shape their values and to express their commitment to love and justice by showing a vision of living that is people-oriented rather than things-oriented.
