Smokey House Center

  • About Us

Smokey House Center is a nationally recognized nonprofit organization that partners with public schools to provide adolescents with a hands-on, natural resource-based curriculum that integrates academic disciplines. At Smokey House, young people work with experienced adults on agriculture, conservation, ecological research and forestry tasks -- learning, in the process, science, math, communications, reading, writing, problem-solving, critical thinking, and teamwork. Our programs integrate academic and personal skills into work-based experiences. We offer internships in applied learning.
