  • Mission

Nsefu Wildlife's mission is to preserve and protect wildlife in Zambia while developing and supporting community programs through education and economically viable alternatives to poaching. We envision a world where wildlife if free from the threat of extinction.

    About Us

At Nsefu Wildlife Conservation Foundation we reduce wildlife crime and local poverty in the Nsefu Sector in Zambia through direct and indirect methods. Our key programs include:

Wildlife Ranger Program: Our approach beings with keeping wildlife safe in the field. Our Wildlife Ranger program employs trained enforcement officers and we are achieving spectacular results.

Women's Empowerment: We believe in lifting EVERYONE up in the Nsefu Sector and this includes women. The Women's Sweing Program helps women help themselves and their families.

Beekeeping/ Biofencing: We show local farmers how to earn an income using eco-friendly agricultural methods of beekeeping and honey harvesting as well as establishing bee fences (biofencing) around crops to reduce human/elephant conflict.

Education: The key to ensuring the safe future of wildlife is investing in education by exposing children to the importance of wildlife conservation and protecting the environment.
