About Us

Mansfield Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation (MCNR), owned and operated by New Samaritan Corporation, is a modern 98 bed skilled nursing facility providing sub acute, rehabilitation, and long term care services. Located five minutes from the University of Connecticut campus.

New Samaritan Corporation (NSC), established in 1970, is a non-profit corporation with experience in housing development and, through its affiliated non-profit management corporations, Elderly Housing Management, Inc. and Community Housing Management, Inc., experience in the management of affordable elderly, family and supportive housing and services.

NSC advocates for human dignity, primarily by encouraging, providing, developing and managing affordable, accessible, safe, quality housing and health care facilities for all persons.
