    CARDO is based on the poor lives of deprived and vulnerable children in Sierra Leone especially children in the rural communities; it started as a community based organization (CBO) in 2012. Initially, the organization started working at local level, where lot of emphasis was on highlighting sufferings and hardships of downtrodden and exploited communities.
