    As the nation’s oldest science public interest organization, the Federation of American Scientists (FAS) is devoted to providing technical assistance, engaging in evidence-based policy analysis, and delivering and accelerating the societal impact of science, technology, and innovation in partnership with global and federal policymakers. FAS's Day One Project is dedicated to democratizing the policy making process, engaging researchers, stakeholders, and former policymakers in the design and development of catalytic policy to address society's biggest challenges.
