About Us

The aim of 'Networked International Volunteering' is to provide a program of volunteering in foreign countries for individual volunteers (or pairs or groups of individual volunteers) while travelling. Group Placements (Workcamps) offer opportunities to participate with volunteers from other countries. Individual placements offer opportunities to live with local people and become part of the community. Placements are related to either: SOCIAL SERVICE to children, refugees, elderly, mentally and physically disadvantaged people, medical & health issues; TEACHING spoken English, assisting at schools for slow learners or in remote areas; or activities related to the NATURAL ENVIRONMENT - i.e. conservation of native habitats, historic buildings, botanical gardens, national or zoological parks, wildlife reserves. IV offers Multiple Placement Programs - a coordinated series of different placements around the world, tailored to the individual. See our website for further information and placement descriptions, then email for an information pack and registration form.
