Food as an agent for change-The Unique Challenge for women and girls in West Africa is access to land which directly affects efficient food production in that region.
By increasing land ownership among women to generates revenue through food, they will gain access to capital, education, achieve economic autonomy, feed and shelter their families, increase their bargaining power, and move toward gender equality.
That is a New Direction for the women in West Africa, a shift away from traditional land ownership toward building a legacy for generations of women to come!
