About Us
oikos foundation for economy and ecology was founded in St. Gallen (Switzerland) in spring 1990. Our mission is to integrate ecological and social sustainability perspectives into the research and teaching at the worlds' faculties of economics and management.
The oikos foundation is conducted by the foundation board of trustees and is supported by leading organizations from the corporate and civil society sector. It is part of oikos, the international Student Organisation for Sustainable Economics and Management. The foundation invests in international longterm oikos projects and is closely associated with the University of St. Gallen, Switzerland.
