Our Mission: To foster equity and opportunity for women and girls
About the Foundation:
The Women’s Foundation of Southern Arizona was founded in 1991 on the principle that when women thrive, the whole community benefits. Since its inception, WFSA has invested more than $2 million in organizations that help women overcome social, political and economic inequities.
The Foundation is a driving force in political change and advocacy for southern Arizona women and girls. Economic self-sufficiency for southern Arizona women and girls is a Foundation priority. Research commissioned by WFSA informs our grant-making and advocacy policies and is a valuable source of information for organizations, businesses, policy makers and individuals.
WFSA is one of more than 160 women’s funds globally that foster equity and opportunity for women and girls.
