F.I.R.S.T. Detection K9

Nov 4, 2002 marked the beginning of FDK9 as a volunteer SAR team. We have grown to a national organization dedicated to furthering investigations, research, standards and testing/training of detection dogs.

FIRST Detection K9 implements cadaver dogs and wildlife conservation dogs to assist responsible agencies where needed. Detection based service dogs are available for donation on an as needed basis. Please inquire through email.

We are a 501 c3 organization, all donations are tax deductible.

GOALS:

*Provide help and hope to lost persons and their families, and to assist law enforcement in locating missing or deceased individuals.

*Provide specially trained detector dogs for wildlife conservation projects.

*Provide odor detection based service dogs to individuals with conditions necessitating such assistance.

Our mission deployment cadaver dog team provides credentialed professional volunteers at NO CHARGE to law enforcement for missing persons, drownings, disasters and cold case victim recovery.
