  • About Us

Services for Adults Staying in Their Homes (established in 1975) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that supports the efforts of older adults to remain in their homes: we make living easier.

The agency provides support services to help older adults in their personal residence. These include home care services (help with the tasks of everyday life); preparing the personal residence of older adults returning home from the hospital or rehab facility as a way to ease their transition back to living independently; and caregiver screening to check the background and references of an individual for an older adult (and their family) may be considering hiring on their own without going through an agency. SASI is licensed as a home services and home services placement agency by the Illinois Department of Public Health.
