About Us
The Youth Orchestra of Bucks County (YOBC), is a non-profit, educational organization which provides opportunities and programs for young musicians in grades 3-12 to achieve artistic excellence through enriching classical music experiences. Students come to YOBC with a special love for music and a desire to develop their musical talent. YOBC provides these students with advanced musical training to enhance and supplement their school programs. Over the past 26 years, the organization has grown from a single, 60-member ensemble to 13 ensembles with nearly 300 young musicians. YOBC also provides community outreach programs to students in under served communities, to help ensure that the benefits of studying instrumental music are available to all students, regardless of their financial resources.
