Skyline Literacy provides one-on-one and small group tutoring to adults who are struggling with speaking, reading, and writing skills. In addition to poor literacy skills, most of Skyline's students are parents who have limited financial resources. Many work shift work in local businesses. Skyline customizes its services to fit students needs and schedules. Since Skyline uses volunteers to provide tutoring as well as many other tasks, students can receive services for a small registration fee of $25. Of course, no student is denied services for lack of payment. Skyline Literacy also provides citizenship, computer literacy, and health literacy classes for the community.
